Ninh Binh Province Enhance Cooperation, Friendship Exchange with Japanese city

Ninh Binh province and Saiki city (Oita province, Japan) have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, exchange and friendship. During nearly six months with the efforts of the two local governments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the support of the Vietnamese Embassy in Fukuoka, Japan, at the Saiki city government headquarters, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation and friendship between Ninh Binh province and Saiki city took place. The signing ceremony took place during the Sakura Festival of Saiki City and especially in 2023 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2023: Vibrant Crossroads

The annual festival was kicked off today [April 6] in Vietnam’s southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City as part of efforts to promote inbound and outbound tourism amid strong recovery post-pandemic. The four-day event gathers more than 120 booths of travel agents which all offer sales for domestic and international tours. “Ho Chi Minh City – Vibrant Crossroads” will connect tourist attractions and regions across Vietnam through conferences, photo exhibitions, job bazaars, business matchmaking, and tourism promotion programs. The festival this year is expected to welcome more than 150,000 attendees, the figure recorded in the last year’s event when Covid-19 remained stricken. Vietnam-Korea Cultural Exchange program to take place in May

The Vietnam Women’s Union in South Korea will host a Vietnam-South Korea cultural exchange event on May 7 to promote Vietnamese culture and strengthen bilateral ties. The program covers a wide range of activities, including a fashion show hosted by the Sen Viet Club, a Vietnamese-South Korean singing competition, and a performance of traditional musical instruments. Participants can also enjoy traditional Vietnamese folk games such as shuttlecock competition, cheraw dance, and charity activities. Six Vietnamese billionaires listed among the wealthiest persons The global magazine Forbes has announced the list of the richest people in 2023, which includes six Vietnamese billionaires. Pham Nhat Vuong, chairman of conglomerate Vingroup, still holds the highest position among the six Vietnamese billionaires with US$4.6 billion worth of assets. He is followed by Nguyen Phuong Thao, CEO of low-cost carrier Vietjet Air, Tran Dinh Long, chairman of the largest steel producer Hoa Phat, and Tran Ba Duong, chairman of the automobile manufacturer THACO. Stunning beauty of 300-year-old Hoa Bun tree in Hanoi

The 30-metre-high tree is noted for its large, thick foliage which brings cool air to villagers. The flowers consist of white and yellow petals and are widely known by their Vietnamese names as Bach Hoa and Man Man. The tree can be seen in full bloom between March and April each year. This species is often planted in Quang Nam, Ninh Thuan, and Thua Thien-Hue provinces, but is rarely seen in Hanoi. These flowers are most commonly found in Ha Dong and Dong Da districts of the capital. The tree’s charming beauty creates a peaceful state of mind for onlookers to enjoy. Visitors are able to enjoy the pleasant aroma coming from the flowers. Indeed, when they start to bloom, the pistils appear similar to noodles.
