According to Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company (Haraco), a trial application has been implemented to scan QR codes for ordering products and services on Thong Nhat trains SE1/SE2, SE19/SE20 Hanoi-Da Nang route, and trains on the Hanoi-Hai Phong route starting from September 15. The QR codes will be posted on seat carriages and sleeping compartments. Passengers can use their smartphones to scan the QR code, which will direct them to the sales website. According to the 2023 Digital Quality of Life Index (DQL) conducted by cybersecurity company Surfshark, Vietnam has improved its ranking by 14 places, now standing at 56th in the world. Out of the Index’s 5 pillars, Vietnam performed best in internet affordability, claiming the 16th place, while still facing challenges in e-security, ranking 94th. The fifth annual report has placed Vietnam 56th among 121 countries, up 14 places compared to the previous year. India’s first space-based mission to study the Sun, Aditya L1 spacecraft, successfully completed its fourth earth-bound manoeuvre, according to ISRO. ISRO’s ground stations at Mauritius, Bengaluru, SDSC-SHAR, and Port Blair tracked the satellite during this operation, while a transportable terminal stationed in the Fiji islands supported post-burn operations, the space agency said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
