Regional Specialties Now Available For Purchase Through QR Code Scanning on Hanoi Trains

According to Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company (Haraco), a trial application has been implemented to scan QR codes for ordering products and services on Thong Nhat trains SE1/SE2, SE19/SE20 Hanoi-Da Nang route, and trains on the Hanoi-Hai Phong route starting from September 15. The QR codes will be posted on seat carriages and sleeping compartments. Passengers can use their smartphones to scan the QR code, which will direct them to the sales website. Vietnam Ranks 56th in Digital Quality of Life – Surfshark Report

According to the 2023 Digital Quality of Life Index (DQL) conducted by cybersecurity company Surfshark, Vietnam has improved its ranking by 14 places, now standing at 56th in the world. Out of the Index’s 5 pillars, Vietnam performed best in internet affordability, claiming the 16th place, while still facing challenges in e-security, ranking 94th. The fifth annual report has placed Vietnam 56th among 121 countries, up 14 places compared to the previous year. Snapshot In the overall Index, Vietnam ranks behind Thailand (51st) but surpasses Cambodia (105th). In Asia, Vietnam takes 15th place, with Singapore leading the region. The DQL Index 2023 examined 121 nations based on five core pillars consisting of 14 indicators. ISRO Announces Successful Completion of Aditya-L1’s Fourth Earth-Bound Manoeuvre

India’s first space-based mission to study the Sun, Aditya L1 spacecraft, successfully completed its fourth earth-bound manoeuvre, according to ISRO. ISRO’s ground stations at Mauritius, Bengaluru, SDSC-SHAR, and Port Blair tracked the satellite during this operation, while a transportable terminal stationed in the Fiji islands supported post-burn operations, the space agency said on X, formerly known as Twitter. The spacecraft has attained a new orbit of 256 km x 121973 km. The next manoeuvre, Trans-Lagrangean Point 1 Insertion (TL1I), is scheduled for September 19, around 02:00 Hrs. IST. Aditya-L1 is the first Indian space-based observatory to study the Sun from a halo orbit around the first Sun-Earth Lagrangian point (L1), approximately 1.5 million km from Earth.
