Hanoi is always an endless inspiration for art. The capital city has been a subject for many generations of artists throughout the times. A bilingual book on the life and career of the late artist Trinh Huu Ngoc (1912-1997), a graduate of the Indochina College of Fine Arts in the early 20th century, was released on July 7 by Omega Plus and Fine Arts Publishing House. The exhibition “Dialogue with Hang Trong Folk Painting” opened this week at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi, featuring 29 Hang Trong paintings by artisan Le Dinh Nghien and 38 artworks on silk, lacquer, poonah paper, and oil paint by young artists inspired by this school of folk painting. France Claims Victory at Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2023

Europe to Host third Mrs Ao Dai Pageant in Poland in 2024

The event aims to honor the Vietnamese traditional dress “Áo Dài,” contributing to nurturing Vietnamese culture within the OV community, and popularizing the fine cultural values of Vietnam among international friends. Held for the first time in the Czech Republic in 2018, the pageant was later interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
