Vietnamese designer introduces latest collection in Milan

The collection is named MIRAGE and draws inspiration from the culture and landscapes of the Northwest region, especially from the renowned work “Vo chong A Phu” (Husband and Wife A Phu) by Vietnamese writer To Hoai.

The designer said that he has made use of materials such as wool, silk, cotton, brocade, and denim for his collection, with it taking him four months to complete the project.

This marks the fourth time that Hoang has participated in international fashion events. Previously, he attended Afro Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer.

Hoang was born in 2000 in Nghe An province. After showing an exceptional talent for drawing and a passion for fashion, he received a scholarship to study at Milan’s Nouva Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA), where he majored in fashion design. He later graduated with distinction in 2018.

Most notably, some of Hoang ‘s designs have already appeared in a number of foreign fashion magazines, including Vogue Italy.

Vietnam looking for talented foreign coach for men’s football team following Park’s departure

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) officially announced on Monday that it will end the contract with Park on January 31, 2023, closing his fruitful five-year journey with Vietnamese football that had started in late 2017. The decision means that the 2022 AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup, set to take place between December and January, will be Park’s last tournament as the head coach of the men’s national football team. The VFF affirmed that the farewell to the South Korean coach, who brought significant success to Vietnamese football during his tenure, came from a mutual understanding and the desire for a prosperous future for both parties.
