Following the success of the “Japan Hour 2023” movie festival in early October, the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam (The Japan Foundation) has recently announced the commencement of the “JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL 2023” which will run for two months starting from October 27. In the first week of December, the festival will be held in Hai Phong city (December 1 – 3). The final stop will be at Hanoi (December 8 – 21). Covering an area of over 8.5 ha, Nguyen Tat Thanh Square is an impressive work in both landscape and urban architecture. It also serves as a place for organising cultural, political and historical events. At the center is the “Uncle Ho and the people of ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province” monument.
